There's no feature to recall sent email messages in any version of Outlook for Mac. If this is a feature you'd like to see in future versions, please send us your feedback to help us prioritize new features in future updates. See How do I give feedback on Microsoft Office for more information.
Outlook for Mac 2011 allows you to merge your PC based Outlook inbox and other folders into that of the Mac by importing .pst file. However, make sure the file being imported is not having any issue (such as corruption). Refer to the following error message given underneath:
The aforementioned error message appears when you try sending an email from Outlook for Mac 2011 that is suffering from server authentication issue, which is clear from the error message itself. However, if you have been sending and receiving emails earlier using the same authentication details, the issue could be with the outlook database (*.olm) file. For example, it might have suffered from corruption. Therefore, you can repair OLM file in order to heal the corruption. It is recommended to use the professional software only. However, if you cannot get the OLM file repaired, consider the following methods to resolve the issue:
In Microsoft Outlook 2016 for Mac or Office for Mac 2011, you receive a \"No Results\" message when you try to search for an email message or apply a filter to a folder, and task items are not displayed in the Tasks folder. Additionally, when you search for mail items by using the Mac OS native Spotlight Search, your search is unsuccessful.
If you recently created a new Outlook Profile in Outlook 2016 for Mac, or a new Identity in Outlook for Mac 2011, added a new account, or if you recently imported new data from a source such as a PST or OLM file, Spotlight indexing may not be complete. In this case, Outlook for Mac displays a \"No Results\" message. To resolve this issue, wait for indexing to finish, and then search again.
To use the recall message Outlook 365 option in Windows, go to the sent items page and double-click the message you wish to recall. On the Message tab, click on Actions and then click on Recall This Message. A popup should appear that allows you to review and recall the original message.
I had a message stuck in outbox for days, I had an attachment that was too big until I did this:Go to file/options and uncheck \"store my setting in the cloud.restart outlookDelete message.
Tried all methods and I still have 16 items (from April 2020) stuck in outbox that cannot be deleted. It appears they are just headers from forwarded emails that were being auto forwarding to a another email account. Even when work offline, I continue to get the message outlook has already begun transmitting the message and it won't let me do anything with them. They show up every time I exit. I just moved from a new version of outlook -- hoping that might help. Nope -- still stuck in outbox. I've tried moving them, archiving them, ignoring them. Any other suggestions
